Associate Director for Advancement
The Associate Director for Advancement is a new position that will play a key role in strategic development and execution of Aspire’s short-term and long-term advancement efforts. Working with the Vice President for Advancement, the Associate Director will ensure the achievement of annual fund raising goals while building the department’s development activities. The Associate Director will oversee effective and efficient advancement operations and provide direct supervision to members of Aspire’s advancement team.
The Associate Director will be an energetic, self-directed individual with a creative approach to fund raising and staff leadership with proven experience. Qualified candidates will have five-plus years of relevant experience in development, preferably in the human services arena. A bachelor degree is required, advanced degree is a plus. Specific responsibilities include:
- Develop and drive annual and multi-year plans for advancement
- Establish fundraising priorities
- Extend Aspire's brand identity
- Develop, maintain, and mange relationships with donors, volunteers, committee and board members
- Enhance and maintain donor information systems
- Supervise team members responsible for fundraising, special events, volunteer program, resource development, and resale store.
