Patrick Curran was honored at the 25th Annual Aspire Classic with the John J. Angus Distinguished Service Award. This award, which was first presented in 1998, was created in honor of John Angus, a long time supporter of Aspire who was involved in many of the fundraising initiatives that are still part of Aspire today. John’s daughter Laurie lives in an Aspire community home still today.
Pat first came to Aspire through a connection with Anne Shannon (former Aspire CEO) and her husband Peter. Pat has served on various committees and the Aspire board for the past 13 years and has given countless hours of his time and talent to help ensure Aspire is a premier agency serving children and adults with developmental disabilities. He has demonstrated his dedication to Aspire by being a member of Aspire’s Board of Directors for the last six years and assuming the role of Board Chair last year. He has been a fixture at the Aspire Classic for the past ten years and has continued to support Aspire through special events and committee work. Congratulations, Pat, on an honor well deserved and we hope to keep you in the Aspire family for many years to come.
