Holiday Party
“Happy Holidays!” said one Aspire board member as he met his partner for the evening. Aspire’s board of directors and participants paired up for this year’s annual holiday get-together. Each pair decided how they would divide their time between caroling, cookie or gift bag decorating, and Wii bowling.
“Our board members spend a lot of time doing detailed work like reviewing financials, fundraising, and strategic planning. How wonderful that they take the time to be present for the people we serve and share the holidays with them,” said Jim Kales, Aspire President and CEO. “This evening really gives board members a deeper understanding of Aspire’s mission.”
Board members bonded with individuals over hot cocoa and snacks, while everyone expressed their pleasure. “What a fun night!” one Aspire participant said, glowing with excitement. “Did you see the cookies I made? I can’t wait for next year.”
