Group Opportunities
Aspire is ready to partner with your group! We have experience working with a wide variety of organizations, such as:
- churches, synagogues and other faith-based groups
- men’s and women’s clubs
- fraternity and sorority groups
- high school and university student groups
- civic and business clubs
We offer numerous opportunities, including one-time group volunteer projects and ongoing partnerships. Some examples of these opportunities include:
- Family Dinner Club - The Family Dinner Club is an opportunity for groups to share dinner and conversation with the adults who live in an Aspire Community Home. Groups that partner through the Dinner Club visit a community home periodically throughout the year and build rewarding friendships.
- Beautify Aspire – Groups with green thumbs, eager paint brushes and unbridled energy are always welcome to help beautify any of Aspire’s 21 homes and program sites. Community groups can participate as a one-time volunteer opportunity or on ongoing basis at the location that best meets their needs.
- Secret Santa – Community Groups can partner with Aspire’s Secret Santa Project and help children and adults with developmental disabilities celebrate the holidays. Community groups can "adopt" one participant, a family or multiple individuals and families, supplying holiday gifts and treats and helping to create a happy holiday season.
- Host a fund raising event – Planning and hosting a fund raising event is a powerful means of support, helping Aspire to raise needed funds while introducing our agency to people who may not be aware of our life-changing programs and services. From a wine and cheese party to a gala dinner, the opportunities are boundless.
- Adopt-a-Program – Community groups can lend their support by ‘adopting’ an Aspire program for a twelve-month time period. When adopting a program, groups visit the program and get to know the participants, donate items on the program’s ‘wish-list’ and/or provide financial support.
Aspire can tailor a partnership that best fits your needs. To discuss group partnership opportunities, email Julie Gies, Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator, or call 708.547.3550 x3554.
